Led Practice

A dynamic, invigorating practice, the Friday morning online is our weekly intensive. Following the tradition of the Iyengar family in Pune, India, the led practice takes place at dawn. Students work towards more advanced asanas while learning how to develop their own practice, including understanding how to use yoga equipment to accommodate where they are at. Suzi leads the practice - guided by well-established Iyengar yoga practice manual, Dona Holleman. Students are invited to use the manual and follow along.

Self Practice

Early Saturday mornings are a chance for yoga students with an established practice to come together in the Ponsonby Community Centre and do their own self practice. The class gives students a chance develop their own practice. They have the freedom to put together sequences, explore asanas individually, work with repetition and use yoga equipment to investigate and explore the asanas in more depth.

Suzi and her teachers are in the Ponsonby yoga studio, doing their own self practice, and are available to offer guidance. Coffee afterwards on Ponsonby Road is a lovely way to conclude the session and a chance to catch up with the wider Four Winds Yoga community.
